Under the patronage of the President of the GENIUS University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Fadel Al-Sanabani, and the Deanship of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the college witnessed the discussion of graduation research for the students of the third batch in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Midwifery, amid a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected the level of scientific and skill qualification that the students had reached in various health specializations. During the discussion sessions, the students presented summaries of their various scientific research that addressed a number of important medical and health issues, under the supervision of an elite group of academics and specialists. The scientific discussions took place in the presence of a number of members of the academic and administrative staff and the students’ parents. Participating in the discussion committees and academic attendance were Dr. Iftikhar Al-Ghassani, Dr. Sarah Al-Gulaibi, Professor Fakhriya Al-Humairi, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Amer, Dr. Abdul-Qawi Al-Shamakh, Dr. Abdul-Latif Al-Sanbani, Dr. Khaled Al-Humaidah, research supervisor and head of the department, Dr. the pharmacist, along with the head of the midwifery department, Dr. Fathia Al-Ezzi, general supervisor of the scientific day. The attendees stressed the importance of scientific research in enhancing the applied and research aspect of students, praising the distinguished scientific level of the research presented and the academic capabilities and promising scientific efforts it reflects that contribute to serving the health sector and society. These discussions come within the framework of the GENIUS University of Science and Technology’s keenness to support scientific research and encourage students to submit qualitative projects and research that contribute to the development of medical and health knowledge, keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market and enhancing the quality of academic education at the university.
